I lift the gemstone above a silver pool base using prongs. This elevation allows light to pass through the stone from all sides.

Argentium Heat & Finish
Because I work with Argentium silver, I heat-treat the pendant to activate the germanium oxide layer. This step increases hardness and slows tarnish. After heat treatment, I secure the stone and complete the piece with a final polish for clarity and shine.
