Rapids Pendant – Argentium Silver
This pendant features the Rapids design in a bold, solid form. I melt pieces of Argentium Silver 940, hammer and shape them, then add more silver until a turbulent surface develops. As the metal moves and cools, ridges and channels form naturally. Therefore, the texture feels intense and alive. This pendant is a large, solid piece with strong presence.
The pendant comes with a 20″ Sterling Silver 1.75mm Franco chain.
Design & Feel
The broad shape gives the piece weight and structure. Meanwhile, the rapids texture adds motion across the surface. This contrast balances mass and movement. Because the raised areas catch the light, the surface shifts as you move.

Materials & Care
This pendant is made in Argentium Silver 940. Argentium silver is brighter and harder than traditional sterling. In addition, it is nickel-free and slower to tarnish.

I build this piece by melting and hammering the silver repeatedly to develop the rapids texture. Then I refine the form and polish the raised surfaces to highlight the movement.
