Copper & Argentium Silver Earrings – Hand Etched Rectangle
A solid sheet of copper is hand-etched and cut into a bold rectangular form. I refine the surface to reveal layered texture and depth. Then I create a round opening near the top to suspend a twisted Argentium silver ring on a fine chain.
The warmth of copper contrasts with the brightness of silver. As a result, the earrings reflect light differently with every movement. The mixed metals create balance between weight and air. Handmade, nickel-free Argentium silver earwires complete the design.
The etched surface absorbs light. Meanwhile, the polished silver ring adds motion and clarity. If you’d like to explore similar forming and texturing techniques, visit my

I hand-etch and cut the copper rectangle first. Then I form the twisted silver ring and assemble the components before final polishing.
