💫 CONVERGE * I Blend * METAL & LIGHT – Balanced – Textural – Connected – Alive
DESIGN & FEEL
These Copper and Argentium Silver Rectangle Earrings belong to the Converge Collection, where mixed metals meet in balance and light. A solid sheet of copper is hand-etched and cut into a bold rectangle. A round opening near the top allows a twisted Argentium silver ring to hang on a fine chain, adding subtle movement. The warmth of copper and the brightness of silver reflect against one another, creating depth, contrast, and effortless motion.

MATERIALS & CARE
I use Argentium 940 silver, an alloy containing germanium that resists tarnish and maintains its luminous finish. Paired with hand-etched copper, these earrings showcase the natural dialogue between warm and cool metals. Both are durable and designed for everyday wear. Use a soft jewellery cloth to keep their surfaces bright and reflective.
MAKING PROCESS
Each earring begins as a sheet of solid copper. I cut the form, then hand-etch the surface to build texture and depth. A circular opening is punched near the top, and a twisted Argentium silver ring is suspended on a fine chain to allow movement. The contrast between metals creates a piece that feels both structured and fluid — a meeting of fire and light.
